Research For College Magazine

I decided I am going to create an art edition and to go for a creative but professional look for the magazine. I wanted to do a more punchy graphic front cover with an edited photograph as part of the contents would be how to use Photoshop. For the contents of the magazine I am including a quick guide to Photoshop, local gigs and events, prior clubs and activities, the available student discounts and equipment for the new term. I decided to use this for the contents as in my questionnaire most people said they wanted a music section in the magazine and their favourite subject area was the arts but I also decided to add a few generals interest pieces to catch the attention of the audience in general.

These are my questions and results. All readers will be 16-18, all of them like being in a small group of friends and feel the need to belong to a group of friends. Most of them care about the environment, all of them want to go to university but most are unsure what they want to work as. All of them are social grades B, C1 or C2 and all are British. Also they all mostly belong to either the Belonger or Emulator Achiever psychographic profiles.

I decided on what questions I would ask based on the subjectivities which are: Age, Gender, music taste, what they find funny, Hobbies, Interests, Activities, Clothing style,Ethnicticity,Nationality,Religion,Location,Education,Lifestyle,Personality,Politics,Class,Self-image,Family,Income,Tastes,Psychology. I tried to produce questions that covered all these subjectivities in my questions. Also these questions are quite subtle at finding out information to categorise them into social groups.
